Subscribe RSSDid you know that the White House executive chef is a Filipina? Cristeta Comerford is a naturalized U.S. citizen from Manila who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Food Technology from UP.
She was named executive chef to the White House by Laura Bush in 2005 after being the assistant chef since 1995. But just last January 9, Michelle Obama announced that Cristeta would stay on as the executive chef during Barack Obama’s term.
