PrintWhatYouLike is a free online service that allows you to remove elements from a web page for printing purposes. Just paste the URL of the page you want to print and you will be presented with tools to remove sections or elements in a page. No need to copy-paste to a Word document and edit from there.

If you’re running Firefox as a browser, PrintWhatYouLike also has a plugin that allows you edit a page right then and there.
