The Nokia 6700 Classic (not to be confused with the slider version) is the successor one of Nokia’s most popular yet simple phone, the 6300. It’s a basic handset that appeals to the mass who are not yet ready for touchscreen.
If you feel that the Nokia 6700 is a cheap phone, then wait for the 1st quarter of next year when Nokia will release a Gold Edition of the phone. This limited edition of Nokia 6700 Classic is coated with an 18-carat gold finish with a matching wallpaper thrown in. Nothing new with its innards as you will get the 16 million 2.2” screen, quad-band support, 5 megapixel camera, S40 user interface, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot.
This Nokia 6700 Classic Gold Edition will start selling for €370 (roughly $550) early next year.
