Sleeping well with sound machines

You may have noticed how hard it is to sleep in an extremely silent environment. You would miss that comforting sound of the fan or the hum of the air conditioning and instead all you’ll hear is the tinny buzz in your ear which can drive you crazy.

soundmachine It’s a fact that people tend to relax more and sleep well when they’re close to nature. Hearing those waves crashing to the shore is very de-stressing and leads to better sleep. Such natural sounds are called white noise and there are machines that generate such sounds. These white noise machines usually simulate nature sounds such as waterfalls, breeze, waves, etc.

So if you have trouble sleeping at night, try listening to white noise. There are also sound machines for infants that simulates the sound they are accustomed to hearing while inside the womb.
