Olympus just announced last week something that’s never been heard of from element-proof cameras, decent but won’t break your wallet.
The new Olympus µ TOUGH-3000 will come in a $285 price tag this March and it will have some of the features that its older and more expensive brother TOUGH-6000 have.
- 12 megapixel
- 3.6x wide optical zoom (28-102mm)
- Shockproof to 1.5m, waterproof to 3m, freezeproof to -10°C and scratchproof
- Dual Image Stabilisation (combines mechanical and digital image stabilisation)
- 1GB internal memory
- HD movie recording
- SD card slot
For $285 the TOUGH-3000 is a camera that will surely last its price tag and more without having to be too careful with it, like having kids use it.
