Memories, such a nice thing to have as you grow old. When you get old, you will have plenty of time reminiscing the past, remembering those special events. Having Alzheimer's will rob you of those things. Every 71 seconds, someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. It's sad when your children or grandchildren visit you someday but your mind becomes blank when you try to put a name to the face.
Help promote Alzheimer awareness and funds for its care by joining Alzheimer's Memory Walk. Volunteers of all ages can join this 2 to 3 mile walk held usually in the fall. There are walks in more than 600 communities all over US so be sure to check your city's events for updates.
So before you or any more of your loved ones becomes afflicted with Alzheimer's, do something about it. Join Memory Walk 2008 and help combat Alzheimer's. Walking is good for your health anyway so it's a win-win situation.
